CueClip supports the most common video formats including MP4, MOV, MKV, and WebM. Most footage straight from a camera, screen recorder, or export from another tool will work without any conversion.

Yes. In CueClip Desktop on macOS you can capture your screen (or a specific window), optionally add a camera overlay, and record with your microphone. When you stop, CueClip opens the recording as a project so you can edit right away in the same timeline — no extra import step.

macOS may ask for Screen Recording and Camera access the first time; allow those in System Settings if prompted.
